AMR Solutions - Multi-channel Meter Interface Unit
Support all functions (data reading, time-triggered operation and management) of the Archnet AMR system


Compatible with Meter Interface Unit (MIU), i.e. a combination of Meter Interface Unit (MIU) and Multi-channel Meter Interface Unit (MMIU) can be installed at the same time in a local area. 

This is a significantly practical approach. Some meters are dispersed inevitably in a local area. For instance, in a 3-phase metering system where there are some meters located remotely apart, a pure MMIU approach is not cost effective
Features
  • Each MMIU can manage up to 16 electric meter, each of which requires a dedicated line to the MMIU and all of which have a shared earth connection

  • Support the use of infrared transmission for initialization and data reading

  • Each MMIU has the relay capability

  • Compact form of 173mm(L) x 120mm(W) x 60mm(D), easy to install into a meter box

  • Alternative of 3-phase and single-phase power supplies versions. The 3-phase power supply version is practically a redundancy power supply configuration to ensure that the MMIU can continue to operate as long as one of the phases is not disrupted in a power failure situation. The Data Concentrator Unit (DCU) had similar functions

  • Pulse signal is isolated by photo electricity to ensure reliable operation

  • Storage of data into nonvolatile RAM which does not need power supply to maintain memory

  • Low power consumption of below 0.1W on the average

  • Lead fused connection to be meter

  • Fire resistance and electric insulation of the casing measure up the national standards
